1.                              Aim & objectives of the organization

                

           To promote Small Scale Industries, Handicraft ; Cottage & village Industries and to implement R.E.G.P. programme of O.K.&.V.I.Board & PMRY programme for self employment  of educated unemployed youth.

  

2.         Mission/Vision

 

i)                    To set up more SSI units above Tiny Sector i.e. investment more than 10 lakhs basing on available of local resources.

ii)                   To provide employment opportunities to educated & unemployed youth.

iii)                 Development of Artisan Sector

3.         Brief history & back ground for its establishment

 

                        D.I.C.,.,Dhenkanal has come into existence from August,1978 and since then it is engaged in implementing the policy & programme of Govt. by way of establishing Small Scale Industries, Handicraft  & Cottage Industries in the district.  D.I.C. is also implementing PMRY scheme for establishing the units under Business,

Services & Industries sector for providing self employment opportunities to  educated  unemployed youth.

4. Organisation Chart

                                At D.I.C. Office all the Officers and Supervisors & Staff  attached to different sections as

detail mentioned in the Organization Chart are performed the duties under their direct supervision to achieve the mission.

 

7.                 Details of service rendered

(i)                  Give guidance to establish SSI units.

(ii)                 To create self employment opportunity implementing through

 different scheme.

(iii)               Organise different training programme for skill up gradation.

(iv)               Arrange EDP training programme to create new industrial entrepreneurs.

(v)                 Financial arrangement made to establish new  unit..

(vi)               Recommendation for availing IPR benefit to eligible units.

(vii)              Revival of Sick SSI units.

(viii)           Rehabilitation of Handicraft t artisans.
