Details of Scouts & Guides of the District

In order to achieve the goal of the Scout movement i.e. to contribute the development of the young people in achieving their full physical , intellectual ,social, spiritual, potential as individual, as responsible citizen and as members of the local, national, and international community, different progammers are being organised in the Dist.

DETAILS FOR DHENKANAL REVENUE DISTRICT

Organisation of different activities during the year:

a) Organisation of Social Services Camps :

i) Rath Yathra - Dhenkanal

ii) Joranda Mela - Joranda

iii) Laxmi Puja- Dhenkanal

b) Observance of Thinking Day on 22nd February( Every Year):

i) Rally for Public awarness.

ii) Cleaning of Hospital campus , Public places etc.

iii) Distribution of fruits among the patients in the Hospital.

iv) Organisation of different competitions among the Scouts/Guides.

c) Organisation of District Rally.

Every year the annual camp (Dist. Rally ) is being organised in our circle. During this rally different training classes & competitions are conducted for the participating Scouts/Guides.

d) Participation in different State&National level Camps.

e) Organisation of test camps.

f) Sending of Scouts/Guides for Rajya Puraskar & Rastrapati Award tests.

g) List of leading Schools producing Rastrapati Scouts & Rastrapati Guides every year.
